Love and Be Loved

Being in the fashion industry has always been a dream for me; the color, the creativity, the drive to be one step ahead of the coming trends. At the end of the day I may have the joy of making someone very happy on their special day but rarely are lives changed because of my makeup skills. For as long as I can remember I have had what I call  "a heart shaped hole in my heart for Africa”. Especially when it comes to the numerous orphans and child headed households 
left behind by war and HIV.

​ My friends and family and I travel frequently to the country of Uganda and have sponsored children there and in other countries for 15 years. If I could scoop every last one of these babies and take them home with me to a safe place where they will always be loved I would.  Logistically this is an impossibility but I can send them to school, encourage them, love them and make sure that their lives are just a little bit easier.
